AH+DMRT supports research into any area that is related to hyperbaric medicine and diving medicine. Applications in areas of research that may lend evidence to efficacy for medical interventions are encouraged. Applications in areas such as oxygen delivery systems, environmental control systems, fire deluge systems and patient monitoring systems may also be considered.
Grants available
The AH+DMRT has available $30,000 to award for research grants in 2010. Requested funding does not need to match available award monies. More than one grant application may be funded.
NOTE: A condition for all grants is that the grantee (applicant) must either be a Deductible Gift Recipient (approved by the Australian Tax Office to receive tax deductible donations) in their own right or be in a position to have the grant accepted through an institution or organisation that is a Deductible Gift Recipient (e.g. into a suitable fund within a public hospital). In the latter instance, all applicants are advised to establish that the relevant institution will be eligible to accept any grant money on their behalf.
